Good Seamanship

Well what started out to be a journey out to Polynesia stalled just for a few minutes after the auto pilot refused to do what it suppose to do. We headed back to the slip for an attitude adjustment which took only a few minutes and a sea trial.

It was  a good thing after solo self steering for twenty hours then having to hove to off of Monterey for a couple of hours to get some sleep. It was a good choice to return since other similar issues came up as in grib files from Predict Wind. After viewing the predictions, I decided it would be even more wise to get the best available predictions so an upgrade was made yet to be activated. Just a few more days and we’ll be off again.
